The Human mind has an amazing capability for finding predictive power in random stock data and trend.  Pareidollia describes a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus being then mistakenly perceived as recognizable.

Why Thailand, a few picks, US subprime at its darkest moment now?

Whom am I to dare to think subprime problems are near the bottom? 

Why Thailand stands out beyond being a non-subprime market -and some select stocks I currently continue to like.

A slowing of the US economy next year, due to the credit crunch, likely means lower oil prices and commodity prices.  The key now is to own growth companies which are not linked to US consumption or broad Thai exports....
