Property funds remain misunderstood.

So called Thai property and infrastructure funds can & should have broad appeal to Thai savers which want higher dividend income, diversity and relative stability of principal.

Yet neither the brokers nor the press give them enough attention.

High financial leverage and so stuck in a low growth rut.

Political changes are coming to Thailand and if this takes hold a new better more professional government may well emerge. In the meantime the West just keeps muddling along, likely for some years more.

The view remains to just sit tight which is consistent with the long term stated investor objective.  Market malaise is meant to discredit the impatient.

Responsible way of investor professionalism

Rumor driven speculative action are for amateurs -or worse. They are suspect and frowned upon here. If any member hears news on one of our stocks which seems to have substance and be legit its OK to share, but must always be dealt with a grain of salt.

Seeing the wisdom of nondoing.

A time to step back and take a brake in order to see the wisdom of non-doing. Action is not the only way to success.  Hannibal the war hero succumbed in the end to his opponents in-action.

On Thai brokerage dealings.

Beware of lame brokers which are more interested in commissions then in creating good investor returns. Churn and often Burn.  The Thai brokerage industry here leaves allot to be desired.
