USA big tech stocks have/are the performance stars. Here is why.

USA very big high tech stocks have been the stellar performers this year 2024 -and before. As many here know, all else there has been mostly dormant/stagnant. Many US and global US-centric investors there are scratching heads on "does it make sense and why? -or is it all just speculation?". Its always dangerous to go against "Mr. Market" and claim its "just crazy and way overdone", which however I also tend to believe. One caveat to keep in mind however is: how AI is all the rage of late for very legitimate reasons -but to then understand how only very large tech companies most benefit from that -as to be truly fully empowered by AI one needs a mega data base! Big takes all. The bigger ones' owned data base the more empowered to take fully advantage of AI, along with very, very vast computing power an essential and this is expensive. Economies of scale being the huge advantage. Hence, these mammoths have all the advantages and so seem "to own the future", more than the rest.
