Stock market distortions -can be an unusual opportunity.

On the Thai Stock Exchange mkt. pricing remains as distorted as ever before seen; an unusual rational investor opportunity.

A few very large cap. stocks for long dominate trading and so move and distort the SET index. These spare command undeserving high p/e ratios of 70 or ever more -while yielding barely 1% in dividends. Compared to various quality smaller and mid cap stocks which trade at 1/5 the p/e. compared to these liquid “monsters” while yielding 6-7% dividend and some growing just as fast and some in defensive industries. While its always difficult to predict how long something silly may last, my investor call is: that within a few short 2-3 months, as dividends get announced and paid here, there will be a realization by a rational majority that responsible investors should and will focus on those.
