Introduction

My Investor view restated, despite all the malaise out there.

As many can sense here, my own current investor-view is much more tamed than the ultra bears. I believe in gold as an asset class for sure, but by far not only!  My preference/bias is to own a very select high dividend (non-USA) income-stocks on companies I got to know very well over years, due to long professional presence here!  I.e. solid corporate governance, benefiting from low economic activity and/or exporting all over the world a defensive product while benefiting from triple Demographics.....

Its a "market of stocks more then a stock market". My choices are companies where the insiders own allot of their shares -some even nearly 50%, so they have no incentive at all to tank/violate their companies...not least over the years they proven themselves on good corp. governance and know that even one "gaffe" can destroy years of confidence building.  Cynics should realize, there are in fact good people out there which run an honest businesses, not because of regulators/fines fear etc..., but because of their own good/honest disposition and providence.  The key is diversification and in present times ultra careful selection along with their very high dividends, which works like “a invisible hand”, as if markets tank one still very likely overall benefits from high current dividend yield (10-15 times more than bank interest rates here). Realizing a stock where the dividend is soo high is much less likely to drop vs. one, which has far less or none.
