Letter to Mr. Watson and the Phuket Gazette.

Start reporting on a long and significant wealth creating movement -right here in Thailand.

Note: Mr. Watson wrote an article in the then published "Phuket Gazette", prompting this reaction. Over time a number of different articles by the same author appeared. He no doubt indirectly so then promotes his own commissioned savings products and biased views. No response received to date.

Dear Mr. Watson,

Bravo on an excellent overview on the real costs and workings of a Swiss Bank account. For that I take my hat off to you, Sir.

Too bad, perhaps, you not add some investment reality by sharing ideas or a review on how individuals can get better income on their capital besides even some appreciation. Or is that too much to ask for? Maybe that is a subject of a future or past article?

In any event, it is deserving to point out that Thailand' stock market has been among the best performing in the world, this and last year! And that if you exclude the biggest cap's, which make up so much of this SET index, the returns have been absolutely phenomenal.....and these not just lately. Yes, I have all the evidence!

In 1997-98 I shared with the Phuket Gazette owner how smaller cap Thai value shares, would be the best investments in the World over the next 3-5 years! The guy laughed at me..... then, one lame reporter came over to only misquote me. Two years later this paper would not correct a fatal mistake namely: No, Thai stock gains incur no Thai capital gain taxes, to individuals.

Mr. Richard Watson, these significant returns continue..... and then some. We now have over half-a-decade long proven performance record. Totally documented at thaistocks.com, on CNBC-TV and by a Forbes article etc,...besides the Bangkok Post and Nation leading Thai newspapers. Over 65 articles got published there, stating this would happen and why!

If only you good people would start reporting on this long and significant wealth creating movement right here in Thailand.. which many Phuket residents are catching on to, all on their own. Or, are you simply too biased promoting your own products or agenda?

Best Regards,

Paul A. Renaud.
